Wayfinding That Works

Raleigh-Durham International Airport supports over 12 million passengers annually, and with growing international service, long lines in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection area were becoming a concern. To enhance the customer experience, a strategy was developed in collaboration with stakeholders from Customs to Operational Asset Management. The result: color-coded signage designed to instruct passengers to pre-queue before arriving in customs, alleviating congestion and improving passenger flow.
